SPC Book Rundown-The Good Seed
SPC Book Rundown - The Good Seed
Welcome to The SPC Book Rundown – The Good Seed. The SPC Book Rundown is an overview of the Book of the Month and each month’s featured author.
This inaugural month, we showcase The Good Seed by Stephany Staple, an agricultural specialist and first-time author.
Stephany shares her powerful journey in her book after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Fibroids. PCOS is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Common challenges with PCOS include irregular menstrual cycles, excess androgen, ovarian cysts, and insulin resistance, which can lead to type 2 diabetes. Fibroids, also known as uterine fibroids or myomas, are non-cancerous growths that develop in the uterus. Symptoms often include heavy menstrual bleeding, prolonged menstrual periods, pelvic pressure or pain, frequent urination, and constipation.
Double hormonal diagnosis can be overwhelming, but Stephany found support. She realized that she had the skills and knowledge to manage the symptoms of these hormonal challenges. Come journey with Stephany as she outlines her story and steps to start living a clean and healthy lifestyle.
As a side note, Stephany offers consultations if you’re interested in backyard gardening. She provides tips on how to get started and strategies to grow what you eat.

A Few Lines from the Book
“Sometimes growth requires shedding …leaving in the past the things that deprived us of the life-giving light of hope. It takes perseverance to read past the close of the tragic chapters of your life, courage to turn the page at the risk of facing more of the same–but turn we must…”
“There will always be something or someone we cannot control. But we can control ourselves and our response, and that is where our greatest energy is best focused.”
“Life is unpredictable. It often gives us a mixed bag of seeds. While we may not have a choice in the seeds handed to us, we can choose how we push for life…yes, we can choose to bloom where we’re planted.”
Look out for The SPC Book Rundown every month.
